Job summary

Encore is seeking an on-site Technician to set up, operate and break down basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality setting. You will ensure guest satisfaction, meet with clients on site, and troubleshoot equipment and software as needed.

This role requires a high school diploma, with a preference for an Associate’s degree, and prior customer service or AV experience. A valid driver’s license is required for potential vehicle operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree is preferred.
• External applicants must meet all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must complete training per Encore’s program in current position.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members that may operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed customer expectations and maintain positive client relationships on site.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Complete order entries in Navigator and interact with vendors for equipment.
