Bird Electric Enterprises is seeking a lineman helper to assist in installing and repairing cables for electrical power and distribution systems. You may erect poles and operate equipment, while following all plans, codes, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6000 documented hours and proven DOL approved lineman apprentice program participation.
• Working knowledge of the lineman craft.
• Must have all necessary tools and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation or repair of cables or wires per plans and specs.
• Help install, maintain, inspect, test, and repair electrical distribution and transmission systems.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment.
• Move materials to job sites and travel to sites as needed.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards to supervisors.
