Job summary

Qualifications

• NCCER Construction Craft Laborer certification.
• NCCER Core Curriculum or equivalent Craft Training Program.
• DOL approved lineman apprentice program participation.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble, install, test or repair cables according to plans and specs.
• Help install, maintain, inspect, test, and repair electrical distribution systems and transformers.
• Climb poles or use buckets to access equipment and coordinate with team members.
• Follow safety rules, participate in pre-job planning, and report hazards to supervision.
• Lay underground cable and string it through conduits as required on site.
