Job summary

This is a full-time position requiring climbing, use of hand and power tools, and strict adherence to safety standards. NCCER Core or equivalent training and 4000 documented hours are preferred, with 18+ years of age.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 4000 documented hours and proven DOL approved lineman apprentice program participation.
• Working knowledge of the lineman craft.
• Must have all necessary tools and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation or repair of cables or wires used in electrical power or distribution systems.
• Climb poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment and lay underground cable where required.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in pre-job planning and safety discussions.
