Job summary

J. Alexander's Restaurant is seeking a Line Cook in Plantation, FL to work in a fast-paced, scratch kitchen. You will support high-quality dish execution, monitor temperatures, and uphold presentation standards in a busy, open-kitchen setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 yr. kitchen/culinary experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with knives, slicer, mixer, stoves and ovens is required.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage ticket orders for proteins and ensure correct food temps.
• Maintain a clean, organized station and follow sanitation protocols.
• Assist with opening duties and closing cleaning duties.
• Coordinate with teammates and management to meet high standards.
