Callawassie Island Members Club is seeking a Line Cook to prepare a variety of menu items according to standard recipes and daily prep lists. You will work with a range of equipment and assist with station setup, cooking, and quality control under the direction of the Executive Chef.

The role requires cooking experience, a high school diploma or GED, and completion of a two-year culinary program, with a strong emphasis on food safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a two-year culinary program.
• Minimum two years of kitchen prep and cooking experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare items according to standard recipes and prep lists.
• Set up and break down line prep station; maintain cleanliness.
• Coordinate timing of orders with other kitchen operations.
• Notify sous chef of shortages; assist with stock and requisitions.
• Adhere to health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Close kitchen using closing checklist; attend staff meetings.
