Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Cook to assist the Chef or General Manager by preparing, cooking, and serving food. You will also handle cash register sales when needed and stock front-of-house items.

Qualifications

• Culinary knowledge and food safety certification required.
• Strong customer service abilities and proactive help to customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize problems and communicate them to management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, menus, and supervisor instructions.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Operate food station, complete station checklist, temperature log, and signage.
• Requisition food supplies and equipment based on future needs.
• Monitor menus and costs to ensure economical meal preparation.
