Job summary

IHOP is seeking a kitchen team member to prepare, cook, and properly plate all food items in accordance with IHOP SOPs and local regulations. You will learn IHOP terminology, follow standardized recipes, and ensure consistency across meals.

You will maintain a clean, sanitary workstation, comply with health and safety guidelines, and support teamwork in a fast-paced environment. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 100 pounds as needed, with a friendly service mindset.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and solve problems in standardized situations.
• IHOP training course work as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to specifications set forth in the IHOP SOP manuals.
• Memorize and apply IHOP galley terminology, plating, items, procedures and utensils.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station.
• Comply with all health, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Follow IHOP uniform and appearance standards per SOP guidelines.
