Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Cook at the La Quinta Resort and Club to join a professional culinary team. You will assist in production, help prepare ingredients, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment while following recipes and quality standards.

You will collaborate with leadership to develop menus reflecting seasonal availability and contribute to delivering memorable experiences for guests at a premier resort in La Quinta.

Qualifications

• Active Food handler’s certification or ability to obtain it.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge and skills in cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté, fry).
• Gain experience with knives and kitchen equipment.
• Assist in recipe creation and ensure consistency of food preparation.
• Support a world class culinary team and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking and manage station setup with needed equipment.
• Keep inventory and ensure proper storage of food items.
