Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a cook for the La Quinta Resort and Club kitchen. You will learn and perform a range of cooking procedures, work under culinary leadership, and contribute to daily food preparation and quality. The role emphasizes sanitation, efficiency, and teamwork in a high-volume environment.

You will handle knife work, recipe execution, and station setup, with opportunities to grow your culinary talents and participate in a world-class culinary team onsite in La Quinta.

Qualifications

• Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Must be able to work independently and stay organized.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry).
• Experience with knives and kitchen equipment.
• Read and recreate recipes to exact specifications.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen workspace.
