Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a culinary professional for the La Quinta Resort and Club. You will join a world-class culinary team, developing skills in different cooking methods and contributing to menu execution.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in a professional kitchen, a current food handler certification, and the ability to work varied shifts. You will be on your feet, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain a clean kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a professional kitchen or pursuing culinary education.
• Active Food handler’s certification or ability to obtain it.
• Willing to work varied day/night and weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• 21+ years old.
• Desire to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry).
• Handle knives and various kitchen equipment.
• Read and recreate recipes accurately.
• Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking.
• Minimize waste through proper handling and storage.
• Work with a world class culinary team and leadership.
