Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's La Quinta Resort and Club is seeking a motivated Cook to join our culinary team. You will support the Chef in daily kitchen production, prep, and plating, focusing on consistency, quality, and seasonal menus.

Qualifications

• Active food handler certification or ability to obtain one.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Requires strong organizational skills.

• At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef in production and fabrication of food for kitchen, cafeteria, banquet, dining room and fine dining.
• Maintain passive leadership to ensure adequate production levels from kitchen staff.
• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry) and tools used.
• Ensure all food and items are stored properly and kitchen remains sanitized and orderly.
