Job summary

Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures in Hinckley, MN is hiring a Cook I to support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, station setup, cleanliness, and food safety practices in a fast-paced environment. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience while developing cooking skills, recipe execution, and kitchen knowledge.

Cook I teammates work with culinary leadership to learn techniques, maintain quality standards, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• No previous kitchen experience required; training will be provided.
• Desire to learn culinary skills and kitchen operations.
• Must be able to secure and maintain a license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• ServSafe Certification preferred (or obtained within 1 year).
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation and Cooking: prepare ingredients and assist with plating according to recipes.
• Kitchen Operations: maintain clean, sanitary workstations and follow safety regulations.
• Team Support: collaborate with leadership and front/back-of-house teams.
• Other duties: assist in other kitchen areas and outlets as assigned.
