Soho House West Hollywood is seeking a Line Cook II to maintain a station or two, ensuring seamless preparation of food and sauces, and to assist Senior Chefs during service. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the team by demonstrating skilled abilities across two stations.

The role emphasizes execution from prep to plate, producing top-quality dishes while adhering to kitchen safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
• Proficient knife handling and professional cooking skills.
• Certificate in food handling is required.

Responsibilities

• Learn ingredients on all menu items and produce consistent dishes on two stations.
• Assist with prep, kitchen maintenance, and inventory as needed.
• Prepare items in pantry and fry station while adhering to allergy requests and dish alterations.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards; monitor temps and quality.
• Support inventory to maintain sustainable food costs.
• Set up stations per guidelines and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Execute production and a-la-carte dishes; contribute to team meals and specials.
• Aim for Soho House standards for speed and guest experience; clock in/out properly.
• Support senior chefs during pre/post-service meetings and mentor newer staff.
• Create a positive work environment under pressure and participate in trainings.
