Qualifications

• Must have minimum 2+ years in a fast-paced, upscale kitchen environment.
• Strong professional cooking knowledge and knife-handling skills.
• Food handler’s certificate.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
• Proactive relationship-building with kitchen leadership.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proven ability to execute all menu items across multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Learn ingredients for all menu items and produce consistent dishes on two stations.
• Assist with daily prep, kitchen maintenance, and inventory as needed.
• Prepare food items in pantry, fry station, and other areas while accommodating allergy requests and special modifications.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specs; monitor temps and quality to control costs.
• Assist with inventory and maintaining a safe, clean, organized workstation.
• Set up stations per Kitchen guidelines and support ongoing service rhythms.
• Contribute to production of a la carte dishes and weekend specials, aligning with Soho House standards.
• Support senior chefs with pre/post-service meetings when requested.
