Job summary

Global Partners LP is expanding Alltown Fresh’s culinary team with a Line Cook 2 who loves kitchen craft and uses locally sourced ingredients. You will prep, wash and chop vegetables, cut meat, label and stock items, and assist in preparing sauces before service.

You’ll interact with guests with hospitality, help train new hires, and ensure safe handling and allergen awareness while keeping a clean, organized station.

Qualifications

• Basic knife and food preparation skills.
• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends and or holidays.
• Understanding of safe food handling and storage.
• Must obtain serve safe certification.
• High school diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep, wash and chop vegetables, cut meat and other meal prep with state of the art equipment.
• Label and stock ingredients while maintaining an organized workspace.
• Prepare sauces or accompaniments before service begins.
• Interact with guests and demonstrate hospitality and passion for foodservice.
• Assist in training new culinary hires.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and allergen awareness.
• Communicate inventory and kitchen needs to Chef and maintain cleanliness.
