Job summary

The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Virginia seeks a full‑time cook to support breakfast through dinner service in our on‑site kitchen. You will prepare soups, sauces, vegetables, and seafood to our quality standards and assist in banquet and catering events.

We require an Associate Culinary Degree or Certificate in Culinary Arts and at least 4 years of restaurant cooking experience, including broiler work; formal training can substitute for part of the experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Culinary Degree or Certificate in Culinary Arts from a technical program.
• At least 4 years of restaurant cooking experience, including some broiler work.
• Formal culinary training may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares soups, sauces, vegetables, and starches.
• Prepares breakfast to dinner service.
• Cooks seafood and meats to quality standards; broil as needed.
• Assists in outside catering.
• Maintains cleanliness and food safety standards.
