Qualifications

• Associate culinary credential required or certificate in culinary arts.
• At least four years of restaurant cooking experience with some broiler work; formal training can substitute for part of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares soups, sauces, vegetables, and starches according to standard recipes.
• Prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal periods, and seafood or poultry entrees as needed.
• Broils steaks and seafood to quality standards and assembles entrees for service.
• Works in restaurant and banquet operations and assists in outside catering.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
