Job summary

Wind Creek Chicago Southland is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food items across pantry, grill, broiler, sauté, and garde manger stations. You will assemble dishes per written specs, maintain clean stations, and ensure proper food handling and storage.

The role requires high-volume cooking experience, strong English communication, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training includes Serve Safe sanitation and on-site safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years high-volume cooking experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Slice, dice, and chop fruits and vegetables according to recipes.
• Prepare dressings, sauces, and canapés.
• Use kitchen equipment to prepare foods per standards.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures in all tasks.
• Read and follow recipes and daily promotions from shift information.
