Job summary

Wind Creek Atmore is seeking a Line Cook to prepare items across pantry, grill, broiler, sauté and garde manger stations, ensuring quality and timely service. You will assemble dishes per written specs, manage station cleanliness, and follow safety and sanitation standards.

Eligibility includes 2+ years high-volume cooking experience, acceptance of a smoke environment, and the ability to pass a guest service audition. Serve Safe training is required.

Qualifications

• Two years high-volume cooking experience required.
• Must pass job interview, including a guest service audition.
• Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older.
• Tribal Gaming License or ability to obtain one.
• Must possess Serve Safe Sanitation training.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a smoky environment.

Responsibilities

• Slices, dices and chops fruits, vegetables, cheeses, cooked meats, poultry and seafood.
• Prepares dressings, sauces, marinades, canapés, hors d’oeuvres and buffet items.
• Uses slicing machine, mixer and food processor per standard recipes.
• Reads and follows recipes/specifications; rotates products.
• Adheres to sanitation standards in kitchen and stations.
• Operates grill, broiler, oven and kettles to prepare foods per recipes.
• Tests cooked foods by tasting and smelling to ensure quality.
