Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food items for service according to orders, set up line stations, and assemble dishes to specification while maintaining quality and safety.

You will work at pantry, grill, broiler, sauté, and garde manger stations, manage prep, and keep a clean, organized kitchen; strong teamwork and English communication are essential.

This full-time role includes benefits and serves Safe sanitation training; experience in high-volume kitchens is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of high-volume cooking experience required.
• Serve Safe sanitation training completed or in progress.
• Ability to read and follow recipes/prep lists in English.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Slice, dice and chop fruits, vegetables, cheeses, cooked meats, poultry and seafood.
• Prepare dressings, sauces, marinations, canapés, hors d’oeuvres and buffet items.
• Handle meat, seafood, poultry and produce according to proper food-handling procedures.
• Read and follow recipes/specifications; rotate all products properly.
• Adhere to sanitation standards and maintain a clean, organized kitchen workspace.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and according to established protocols.
