Wind Creek Chicago Southland is hiring a Prep Cook to ensure timely preparation of menu items, set up line cooking stations, and assemble dishes according to recipes. You will work across pantry, grill, broiler, sauté and garde manger stations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading and following prep lists in English, standing for long periods, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year high-volume cooking experience or culinary training preferred.
• Ability to read and follow English recipes and prep lists.
• Serve Safe Sanitation training required.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to company methods of food preparation, cooking, portion control, and garnishing.
• Reads and follows recipes/specifications.
• Maintains a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
• Rotates product and adheres to sanitation standards.
• Assists with daily promotions, specials, and station assignments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
