Job summary

Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Line Cook to prepare items per our recipes and standards, while upholding safety and sanitation. You will work with the service team to deliver accurate, timely dishes and help minimize waste through portion control and ticket accuracy.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong guest-focused mindset, with responsibilities spanning opening, mid-day, or closing shifts in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification as required.
• Comply with uniform standards.
• Able to create a memorable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Prepping and cooking all menu items per recipes.
• Minimize food waste by proper portions and avoiding ticket errors.
• Coordinate with service team to ensure timely, fresh dishes.
• Follow health department procedures and safely operate kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, stocked station before, during, and after shift.
• Perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned.
