Job summary

Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items with accuracy and passion for quality. You will follow recipes, maintain sanitation standards, and work with the service team to ensure guests receive fresh, timely meals.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience, are at least 18, and can work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Company culture emphasizes teamwork, growth, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of Line Cook/Prep Cook experience
• 18+ years old; Food Handlers Certification as required
• Comply with uniform standards
• Able to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is essential
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
• Able to communicate effectively with management, teammates and guests
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards as a priority
• Prepping and cooking all menu items per recipes and standards
• Minimize food waste by proper portions and catching ticket errors
• Coordinate with service team to ensure timely, fresh and accurate dishes
• Follow health department food safety procedures
• Safely operate kitchen equipment
• Keep station clean and stocked before, during, and after shifts
• Handle opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned
