Job summary

Dave & Buster's is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items to recipes, maintain safety and sanitation, and contribute to guest experiences. You will work with the team to ensure timely, high-quality dishes and uphold our standards across shifts.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of line/prep cook experience, be 18+, hold a Food Handlers Certification, and demonstrate strong teamwork and composure under pressure. Flexible scheduling includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience.
• 18+ years of age; Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Comply with the company uniform standards.
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience.
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!).
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs).

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!).
• Prepping and cooking all menu items according to recipes standards
• Helping minimize food waste by creating proper portions, staying vigilant for ticket errors, and communicating with expo
• Partnering with the service team to ensure food is accurate, delivered fresh and in a timely manner
• Adhering to all company and health department food safety procedures
• Properly and safely operating kitchen equipment
• Maintaining a clean and stocked station before, during and after each shift
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties as assigned
