Job summary

Flanigan’s Enterprises is seeking a dedicated line cook to join our back-of-house team in Florida. You will prepare menu items from the recipe manual, maintain proper plate presentation, and help run smooth kitchen operations during busy shifts.

The role requires standing long hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, reading English, and adhering to safety procedures. Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays, with a 5-day work week and paid vacation after milestones.

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible shift schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Capable of standing/walking 100% of shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times per shift.
• Able to read recipes and food labels.
• Able to read POS ticket orders.
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans and sharp knives.
• Pass food safety certification program as required by Flanigan’s and Florida statutes.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Prepares menu items according to Flanigan’s recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Ensures rotation of products and stocks to par level to keep kitchen running smoothly.
• Assists with prep work, stocks and station setup as needed.
• Transports items to and from kitchen and assists Vendor deliveries.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen area throughout shift.
• Breaks down and cleans all stations at closing.
