Job summary

Flanigan’s in Kendall, FL is seeking a motivated line cook to contribute to our high-energy BOH team. You will prepare dishes from a scratch kitchen, follow recipe manuals, and help maintain clean, orderly stations.

You’ll work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, and will be trained in safety and sanitation to ensure top quality and guest satisfaction. You will help with proper plate presentation and timely food flow from kitchen to guests while collaborating with teammates and

Qualifications

• Flexible shift, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Able to stand for the full shift.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Able to read recipes and food labels.
• Able to read POS ticket orders.
• Communicates ticket times and ensures proper food flow from kitchen to guests.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (Open Flame Grill, Stove, Slicer).
• Work safely with hot plates, pots, pans; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Prepares menu items according to Flanigan’s recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Ensures rotation of products and stocks to par level to avoid disruption.
• Assists with prep work and stations setup as needed.
• Transports items to and from kitchen and aids in unloading vendor deliveries.
• Cleans and maintains the kitchen area throughout the shift.
• Breaks down and sanitizes stations at closing.
