Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Line Cook to prepare hot and cold foods for guests at events, including buffet lines and a-la-carte stations. You will work with a team, follow recipes, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

The position offers part‑time hours with benefits such as 401(k) savings and 401(k) matching. You must be able to work events as needed and have strong attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience as cook or prep cook preferred.
• Able to operate standard kitchen equipment safely.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid food handling certificate as required by regulations.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, fresh food for guests in a timely manner.
• Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portions.
• Work as a team with preparation, service and delivery of products.
• Report maintenance required for kitchen equipment.
• Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards.
• Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking.
• Garnish plates and present dishes for delivery to guests.
• Consult with Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor to plan menus.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.
