Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Line Cook to prepare foods for guests at our venues. The role involves working near a buffet line, slicing meats, and preparing dishes to order with a focus on attendance and event availability. Compensation is hourly and ranges from $13.00 to $18.00 per hour, with part-time benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and matching.

The position remains open until October 30, 2026. Ideal candidates have prior cook or prep cook experience and the ability to operate

Qualifications

• Previous cook or prep cook experience highly preferred.
• Able to operate standard kitchen equipment, including the broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef knife.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.
• ServSafe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests.
• Prepares hot and cold foods following recipes and portioning requirements.
• Participates as a team player with responsibilities related to preparation, service, and delivery of product.
• Reports any maintenance required for kitchen equipment.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Observes and tests foods to ensure proper cooking.
• Portions, arranges, and garnishes food plates for delivery to guests.
• Plans menus and estimates expected food consumption with Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
• Demonstrates excellent attendance in accordance with company standards.
