Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Line Cook to prepare hot and cold dishes for guests across the venue. You will work in areas such as a buffet line, slicing meats, and preparing dishes to order, while maintaining attendance and flexibility for events.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or prep cook preferred.
• Able to operate broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, slicer and chef knife.
• Good communication and respectful team demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Food handling certificate as required by state/federal regulations.
• ServSafe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, fresh food for delivery to guests in a timely manner.
• Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portioning requirements.
• Work as part of a team with responsibilities related to preparation, service, and delivery of product.
• Report any maintenance required for kitchen equipment.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking.
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food plates for delivery to guests.
• Consult with Executive Chef/Sous Chef to plan menus and estimate food consumption.
• Demonstrate attendance to meet company standards.
