Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous cook or prep cook experience highly preferred.
• Able to operate standard kitchen equipment, including the broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef knife.
• Clear, respectful communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and able to work in an event-driven setting.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations.
• ServSafe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, fresh food for guests in a timely manner.
• Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure excellent service and delivery.
• Report maintenance needs for kitchen equipment.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Monitor food for proper cooking and presentation.
• Portion and garnish dishes for delivery to guests.
• Consult with Executive Chef or Kitchen Supervisor to plan menus and estimate food consumption.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance as required by the company.
