Qualifications

• Previous cook or prep cook experience
• Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment (broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, slicer, knife)
• Excellent communication with staff and guests
• Ability to work in fast-paced, event-driven environment
• Valid food handling certificate if required by regulations
• ServSafe preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, fresh food for guests in a timely manner
• Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portions
• Work as a team to ensure excellent service and delivery of products
• Report maintenance needs for kitchen equipment
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in work areas
• Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking
• Portion, arrange, and garnish plates for delivery
• Consult with Executive Chef or Sous Chef to plan menus and estimate consumption
• Demonstrate perfect attendance and reliability
