The ONE GROUP is seeking a Line Cook in Plano, TX to craft high-quality dishes at a fast pace while upholding THE ONE GROUP's standards. You will work collaboratively with BOH and FOH teams to ensure accurate tickets, proper plating, and a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume kitchens, strong knife skills, and the stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong culinary techniques and food safety fundamentals.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knife skills and varied cooking methods.
• Stands for long periods and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute all dishes from assigned station with precision.
• Follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards.
• Read and process food tickets accurately for timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety at all times.
• Execute menu items with proper technique and timing.
• Assist with daily prep tasks and stock ingredients.
• Keep storage and production areas organized.
• Collaborate with BOH and FOH for seamless service.
• Follow health department sanitation requirements.
• Complete tasks assigned by Chefs with professionalism.
