Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Ballenger Creek, MD is seeking a Line Cook to join our Back of House team. You’ll cook with speed, accuracy, and pride, ensuring consistency across every plate that leaves the kitchen.

You’ll set up and stock your station, read tickets, plate with care, monitor temperatures, and uphold food safety standards. We offer extensive training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and attention to presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Properly label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
