Job summary

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a Line Cook who will join our Back of House team to deliver high-quality plates with focus and pride. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, maintain stations, and read tickets to ensure timely service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items up to 35 pounds.
• Guest-oriented mindset and positive teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Label, store, and rotate all food items properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
