The ONE GROUP is seeking a Line Cook in Troy, MI to join a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen. You will execute dishes from your station with precision, follow recipes, and maintain timing and quality while upholding sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates bring prior Line Cook or Prep Cook experience in a busy restaurant, strong knife skills, and a commitment to teamwork, efficiency, and growth within a renowned hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong culinary techniques and knowledge of food safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen.
• Excellent knife skills and various cooking methods.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute dishes from the assigned station.
• Follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards.
• Read and process food tickets to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
• Collaborate with BOH and FOH teams for seamless service.
• Support daily prep and inventory tasks.
• Ensure storage and production areas are organized.
• Adhere to health department sanitation requirements.
• Perform tasks with professionalism and enthusiasm.
