Job summary

The Sicilian Butcher is seeking a reliable Line Cook to join our fast-paced, hospitality-driven kitchen. You’ll work alongside a passionate team to deliver bold, scratch-made dishes with pride and consistency.

Responsibilities include preparing and plating meals, maintaining a clean workstation, and adhering to safety standards while delivering outstanding guest experiences. Prior culinary experience and a current food handler card are valued.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• 4+ years Line Cook experience preferred.
• Multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to recreate recipes to The Sicilian Butcher standards.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and cleanliness.
• Willing to go the extra mile for guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of menu and products carried.
• Current food handler card or ability to obtain one.
• Experience, positive attitude, punctuality, and teamwork.
• High school diploma; hospitality or related degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping.
• Safely use knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and more.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food per guidelines.
• Store food safely following policies and procedures.
• Adhere to safety policies and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
