Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 4+ years of Line Cook experience preferred.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to recreate recipes per The Sicilian Butcher standards.
• Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness.
• Willing to go the extra mile to create the ultimate guest experience.
• Knowledgeable about the menu and the varying products we carry.
• Must have a current food handlers card or be able to obtain one.
• Must have experience, a positive attitude, be punctual, and be a team player.
• High school diploma: a hospitality or related degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• As a Line Cook at The Sicilian Butcher, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, bringing bold flavors and scratch-made dishes to life during every service.
• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely utilize a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
