Habitat America, LLC seeks an experienced Tax Credit Property Manager for the Ellicott City, MD area. The role oversees 70-90 TC multi-family units with a focus on regulatory compliance, resident service, and financial performance.

The Community Manager ensures operational excellence, manages leasing and staff, and reports on budget to actuals and cash flow. LIHTC knowledge and a strong customer service orientation are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years as a Property Manager or Community Manager.
• LIHTC experience strongly preferred; TCS or similar certification preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following company policies and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a tax credit community and ensure housing regulations compliance.
• Provide excellent service to residents, prospects, and partners.
• Manage leasing, occupancy and resident relations for stability.
• Review monthly operating statements and cash flow performance.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial and property performance reports.
• Ensure LIHTC compliance including income certifications and recertifications.
• Maintain resident files and documentation per agency requirements.
• Supervise staff and uphold operational standards.
