Job summary

Mission Rock Residential, LLC in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support day-to-day property management duties and ensure resident satisfaction. You will communicate with applicants, explain lease terms, process applications, and assist in rent collection while upholding Fair Housing standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of onsite leasing experience, proficiency with MS Office, and LIHTC experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years onsite as Leasing Consultant required.
• Proficiency in personal computer skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic math.
• Thorough understanding and application of Fair Housing laws.
• LIHTC experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high level of customer service and online presence to achieve satisfactory surveys/reviews.
• Explain policies related to screening qualifications, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move-in/move-out procedures.
• Review resident files and accounting records for unpaid or late fees; communicate with residents and enforce the lease.
• Tour community, amenities and vacant apartments with prospects; maintain current knowledge of apartment specs and rental rates.
