Job summary

Mission Rock Residential in Charlottesville is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support day-to-day property management under the Property Manager, with emphasis on rent collection, lease compliance, and resident communication.

Candidates should have 1–2 years onsite leasing experience, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and knowledge of Fair Housing laws; LIHTC experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years onsite as Leasing Consultant.
• Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Thorough understanding of Fair Housing laws.
• LIHTC experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest level of customer service and online presence for residents and prospects.
• Explain screening qualifications, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move-in/out procedures.
• Review resident files and balances, communicate about outstanding amounts, and enforce the lease.
• Tour community and vacancies with prospects, stay informed on apartment specs and rental rates.
