Job summary

Guardian Real Estate Services LLC is seeking a Full-Time Community Manager for Timberview in Portland, OR. The role oversees a 105-unit LIHTC affordable community, ensuring policy adherence, resident service, and financial stability.

The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and communicative, with knowledge of LIHTC program requirements. Schedule is 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a $30/hr compensation plus bonuses eligible.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience managing a multi-family community.
• One year of experience in affordable housing (LIHTC).
• One year of prior supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding and willingness to enforce Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws in Oregon.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong mathematical skills and basic understanding of property budgets.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner.
• Complete company training requirements within pre-determined deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner.
• Coordinate property operations in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Assist in developing operating income/expense budgets and capital budgets.
• Analyze and report monthly financial statements including variances and cash management.
• Administer budgets, review operations, and propose actions to maximize efficiency and satisfaction.
• Direct day-to-day activities of other property staff and conduct staff evaluations.
• Lead site staff meetings and monthly safety meetings; document minutes.
• Aim for continuous improvements to meet resident needs and ownership goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Property Manager.
