Guardian is seeking a full-time Community Manager for Gray's Landing Apartments in Portland, OR. You will supervise staff, enforce policies, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and Tenant Laws while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two (2) years of experience managing a multi-family community.
• At least one (1) year of experience working in affordable housing or relevant industry.
• At least one (1) year of prior supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of and willingness to enforce Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws in the state of OR.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong mathematical skills and basic understanding of property budgets.
• Possess basic technology, internet and general computer use skills and willingness to learn new programs as needed.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required.

Responsibilities

• Always represent Guardian in a positive and professional manner.
• Coordinate and supervise property staff to meet management goals.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulate budgets.
• Assist in operating income/expense budgets and capital budgets.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and manage cash and receivables.
• Oversee leasing activities and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
• Lead site staff meetings and coordinate vendor oversight.
• Identify improvements to enhance resident satisfaction and property profitability.
