NHE, Inc. is seeking a Community Manager for our Affordable Management portfolio in North Charleston, SC. You will oversee fiscal accountability, leasing, regulatory compliance and staff supervision at LIHTC/Section 8 communities.

The role requires knowledge of Fair Housing laws and HUD regulations, strong leadership, and coordination with owners and regulators. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent apartment management experience is preferred and Yardi Voyager experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years’ apartment management experience with strong customer service and leasing exposure.
• Training or experience with common computer applications (Word, Excel) and property management software (Yardi Voyager).
• SC Property Manager or PMIC license (or equivalent) is preferred and advantageous.
• LIHTC/affordable housing experience and knowledge of applicable regulations is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Complete move ins/outs/re-certifications/interims per HUD and NHE guidelines.
• Monitor regulatory compliance for LIHTC/Section 42, HUD 8/PRAC/HAP, HOME, HTF, etc.
• Oversee Fair Housing compliance and program-specific regulation adherence.
• Manage staff performance, training, coaching and staffing needs.
• Prepare management reviews and coordinate property inspections.
• Supervise onsite staff, including hiring, timesheets and evaluations.
