Job summary

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Community Manager with tax credit experience to oversee operations at multifamily communities. Under regional supervision, you will supervise staff, ensure LIHTC compliance, and drive leasing and customer service standards.

You will lead marketing efforts, manage renewal processes, handle delinquency collections, and prepare key weekly/monthly reports. The role emphasizes occupancy, budget controls, and resident retention initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of three years’ onsite Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager experience in multi-family housing or similar.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all community associates and ensure LIHTC compliance.
• Lead customer service and leasing standards, respond to resident requests promptly.
• Direct marketing efforts and prepare paperwork for new and renewal leases.
• Determine renewal rates and deliver renewal letters to secure renewals.
• Review resident files and accounting records to collect delinquencies and enforce leases.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, move-in/move-out inspections, and related documentation.
• Organize resident activities and loyalty programs to improve retention.
• Identify efficiency improvements to boost occupancy, revenue, and profitability.
• Monitor market conditions by researching competitive rents and concessions.
• Collect and deposit rents and other income daily; oversee budgeted occupancy and expenses.
