Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Community Manager in Greenville, SC to oversee fiscal accountability, leasing, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision for LIHTC or HUD-assisted communities. The role requires coordinating with owners, regulators, and property management staff.

The role involves marketing, wage reporting, re-certifications, and ensuring facilities meet NHE standards. Flexibility for varied schedules including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or two years of working experience in the apartment management industry; customer service and leasing/marketing preferred.
• Experience with Word and Excel; familiarity with web-based apartment management software.
• Knowledge of applicable apartment management laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.

Responsibilities

• Complete move ins/outs/re-certifications/Interims per HUD and NHE guidelines.
• Monitor regulatory compliance for LIHTC/Section 42, HUD Section 8/PRAC/HAP, HOME, HTF, etc.
• Oversee Fair Housing compliance and ensure properties adhere to program regulations.
• Coordinate budgeting, staffing, leasing, accounts receivable, and staff performance.
• Direct supervision of onsite staff and performance evaluations; training and development.
