Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Community Manager for our Rosewood Commons I & II communities in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee regulatory compliance, leasing, marketing, and staff management across LIHTC or Section 8 properties.

The role requires coordination with owners and regulators, ensuring budgeting, reporting, and performance standards while maintaining high resident satisfaction and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or two years of successful working experience in the apartment management industry, including customer service and leasing/marketing.
• Training or experience in basic computer use (Word/Excel) and experience with Yardi Voyager or similar web-based apartment management software.

Responsibilities

• Complete move-ins/outs/re-certifications/Interims as required by HUD and NHE guidelines.
• Monitor regulatory compliance for LIHTC Section 42, HUD Section 8/PRAC/HAP, HOME, HTF, etc.
• Oversee Fair Housing compliance and program-specific regulations.
• Interpret IRS and HUD rules; recommend compliance changes as needed.
• Assist in staff recruiting, training, and performance management.
• Manage on-site admin functions and ensure timely evaluations and payroll processes.
• Coordinate maintenance programs and responsive resident service.
