Habitat America, LLC is seeking an experienced Tax Credit Property Manager to lead a LIHTC community in the Salisbury area. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, resident services, and operational excellence while driving strong financial performance.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing leasing, occupancy, and staff in a fast-paced LIHTC environment, ensuring exceptional living experiences for residents and partners alike.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Tax Credit Property/Community management.
• LIHTC certification (TCS) or similar LIHTC certification strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while following company policies and leadership direction.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing financial reports and managing property budgets.
• Knowledge of resident income certification and recertification processes in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a tax credit community and ensure compliance with housing regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, and community partners.
• Manage leasing, occupancy, and resident relations to maintain a stable community.
• Review monthly operating statements, budget-to-actual variances, and cash flow performance.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly financial reports and property performance reports.
