Job summary

SECSO Lighting, Inc. is seeking a Specification Sales professional to develop and maintain sales and strong account relationships, coordinating with all departments to ensure orders are followed through.

The successful candidate will call on customers, develop long-term accounts, and present lighting specifications. They will meet sales goals, perform product presentations regularly, and collaborate with management and partners to stay ahead in lighting offerings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in the lighting industry.
• Experience with project quotations.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to develop customer presentations.
• Must have reliable transportation and driver’s license.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Call on customers and develop long-term accounts through expert service and lighting specification and relationship building.
• Meet or exceed sales goals, making 3–5 new sales calls per day.
• Maintain profitability by meeting sales goals and managing expenses.
• Make a minimum of 3 proactive product presentations per week.
• Develop quick rapport and identify customer needs to specify lighting for their project.
• Collaborate with Management and Manufacturing Partners for training and product knowledge.
