Job summary

SESC0 Lighting, Inc. in Oklahoma City seeks a Specification Sales professional to develop and maintain sales and strong working relationships with assigned accounts.

You will collaborate with all departments to facilitate order follow-through and become an expert in lighting specifications for projects. The ideal candidate has a degree or LC certification, at least 3 years in the lighting industry, and the ability to present professionally to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the lighting industry.
• Ability to develop presentations for customers in a professional manner.
• Understanding of lighting specification and project needs.
• Experience in a B2B sales environment with growth/backlog management.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals and manage costs.

Responsibilities

• Call on customers and develop long-term accounts through expert service and lighting specification, as well as relationship building.
• Meet or exceed established sales goals, making at least 3-5 new sales calls per day.
• Maintain profitability by meeting sales goals and managing expenses.
• Make a minimum of 3 proactive, product presentations per week.
• Develop quick rapport and assess customer needs to identify lighting specifications for their project.
• Work with Management and Manufacturing Partners on training to become an expert in lighting and products available on the market.
• Understand all aspects of customer and sales service, including order entry, returns, pricing on replacement parts, and project management.
• Demonstrate strong social skills, confidence, and the ability to close orders.
